Wambi 4.8.10
RELEASED: June 21, 2023
What's New or Improved
- UI Updates
- Like Pokemon, see if you can find them all! Here are some hints (... all right, I'll just tell you):
- Search Bar: Read it - no really, read it! Now you know what you can search for!
- Gifted Surprises: "Sent" tag = old, boring, blah. Look at the wording on the surprises now - feels like a gift, right?
- Analytics Click-Through: While we love to keep things zippy and zesty, the "MTD" filter now remains consistent when a user clicks through (previously it changed to "last 30 days")
Fixes
- Two notification bells appeared for team members on mobile; two was not better than one, so one was removed
- On the other hand, the group profile view on mobile was missing a scrollbar and subgroups; the whole family is back together now
- The Date Picker was kinda doing its own thing, but now it knows to only update the date on the user's submission request
- We found some duplicates of Wambis Wambis in profiles; while we love recognition, we love unique entries more
- The helpful "See more" appeared on random comments and posts where the text was less than 6 lines, which was kinda unhelpful; it now appears when needed
- Posts and Wambis did not open from in-app notifications; since we want people to engage with their notifications, this is now fixed
Wambi 4.8.00
RELEASED: June 7, 2023
What's New or Improved
- Group Administrators, Managers, and Combo Group Admin+Manager: The whole gang is here!
- We streamlined user roles in Wambi! This refresh especially refines the roles group admins and managers. Most of our users with direct reports are also group admins within our organizational structure groupings, so these users will have combined permissions.
- Group Administrator: Group Admins have access to administer group(s) they oversee in Wambi
- Manager (ONLY): Managers have access to manage their direct reports in Wambi
- Manager + Group Administrator: Most managers will have joint group administrative capabilities for their teams and access to manage their direct reports in Wambi
- Bubble Pop, Bye Bye Bye
- You have served us well, Bubble Pop! Based on client feedback, we have removed this so users can immediately see what they have unlocked!
- Profile picture = fast pass to your profile!
- Want to visit your profile on desktop? Simply click your profile picture - just like on mobile!
- Patient feedback: new location, improved experience
- Since managers use the patient feedback feature to manage their teams, this has been moved to the Management Hub!
- Verbiage and UI improvements
- The portal language now reads "Who would you like to thank?" and group admins will see "you" for their celebration name when they have an upcoming celebration.
Fixes
- The check-in widget was taking over any dashboard it was added to; it now resizes as expected
- The group modal wanted to be the star when the My Preferences modal should have appeared first; we explained that it was still special but needed to appear when and where expected
- Users couldn't switch Delegate accounts; this felt a bit like entrapment, so users can now switch freely
- The disabled state was all sorts of messed up on pill buttons; we weren't into the vibe, so we updated the design
- We found some additional areas to update the Group Admin text from moderator/group owner for the sake of "consistency;" however, if you find any others, consider it an Easter egg
- Once we moved the Profile Change Requests to the Management Hub, it decided to appear for managers without direct reports, despite our expectations; it now will be hidden for these users
- Pressing back on group page did not refresh group feed, which we thought would be a zen-like experience for our users... turns out it felt like a weird user experience, so we made that button actually do things (... like refresh the feed)
