3 MINUTE READ
The day is here- you finally have access to your organization's Wambi site and are logging in for the very first time. As part of the Project team, you and your team get exclusive access to Wambi before anyone else in your organization. Let’s take a look at our favorite ways for our client’s project teams to begin using Wambi ahead of everyone else:
- First thing’s first- update your Wambi profile!
Open your menu in the top right corner of the page and select my preferences. Make sure to upload a photo & add a mobile number. Your photo will set the stage for the next few practices and make the recognition you share stand out.
*Remember that notifications are not turned on for your organization until you officially roll out, so you will not receive any text notifications until then.
- Now it’s time to share some gratitude.
It’s as simple as clicking on the “Send a Wambi” button. Choose a Wambi that best fits the occasion. Maybe one from your organization’s custom collections sticks out to you! After selecting the design, search for those who you’d like to send it to and share your message. Make sure to choose one of your organization's values to the Wambi. We recommend sharing this Wambi on the newsfeed so as others on the project team login for the first time, they can add comments and cheer each other on!
- Create a post.
Leaders on Wambi (defined as anyone with direct reports or oversees teams) can create posts. Posts can include multimedia including videos (under 2 minutes), photos, and images! Take this time and create a post shouting out your fellow project team, or welcoming users who may be logging in for the first time! There’s so many ways leaders get value out of the posting feature- check out some here.
- Encourage your team to log in and give gratitude.
As noted before, notifications are not enabled until we are roll out to your organization- but that’s no reason to not reap the benefits of gratitude. The more gratitude that is shared over the weeks leading up until rollout, the better!
