Posting on Wambi enables leaders to engage and communicate across teams. To maximize the effectiveness of posts and keep your team eager for more, follow these tips:
Use Photos or Video
Bring your posts to life and get more engagement by adding a photo or video that aligns with your post. Posts that include more than just text see higher rates of response and reactions on Wambi. When creating a post, sharing a photo from an event, spotlighting a team member, or even a short video of yourself sharing news comes across as authentic and builds connection for team members who see it. See for yourself, which post are you most likely to read and engage with?
Tag Who is Involved
Unlike a Wambi, creating a post doesn't send text or email notifications to team members. By tagging a leader, team member, or a whole team in a post, you are inviting team members and leaders to join in on the conversation. Tagging someone will send them a text or email notification (depending on their preferences) letting them know to check out your post! If your post is shouting out a team or team member, we highly recommend tagging them so they are notified and can engage in the comments! Pro Tip- tag their leader too!
Check Out Other Posts
Other leaders in your organization are creating posts about what's happening on their teams, and you can connect and engage with them by filtering the newsfeed to view all posts across your organization. Seeing other leader's posts is a great way to gain insight on different events, how they celebrate their teams, and gather ideas on how they are creating a positive culture for their team members.
When you see great ideas, comment on the post to cheer on your fellow leaders, and let them know of any plans to implement their practices on your own team! Lean on one another to learn more about supporting your team members.
When scrolling through the newsfeed, make sure to leave a reaction or comment on the posts you see. Engaging with posts will create and strengthen your connections within the organization, no matter the physical distance between you and another leader. By being active on other's posts, you may be surprised by who starts cheering on your posts!
