Gratitude and meaningful recognition are integral components to creating a culture that brings joy to patients and team members. What better way to kick off joy in the workplace than with a Wambi event?
Hosting an event during rollout is a great way to garner excitement and awareness for Wambi. These events are designed to remind team members to log in and see everything that Wambi has to offer!
Using this guide as a helpful resource, empower your Wambi Change Champions to host a celebration for team members.
NOTE
Change Champions are the Wambi experts at your organization! They are trained to help answer questions and minimize support requests.
Location
Think of a high-traffic location for team members at your organization: a cafeteria, team member entrance, or main lobby. Your event should be held where a majority of team members can experience it. Or go mobile! Bring Wambi to where your team is by setting up a Wambi cart that can be moved to different floors throughout the facility.
Timing
Schedule your event accordingly to coincide with high-volume lunch hours or at the start and/or end of shift, depending on location.
BEST PRACTICE
Remember: Night shift team members are on Wambi, too! A day event as well as late-night event are crucial to a successful Wambi experience.
Set-up
- Stationary Wambi stations
- A simple cafeteria table + white linen tablecloth combo is a great start.
- Mobile stations
- We recommend a cart on wheels.
- Décor
- Balloons of Wambi colors are sure to grab everyone’s attention.
- Music
- Create excitement with a playlist from the Wambi Flock Rock Spotify.
- Materials
- Out on display, we recommend having the Team Member Poster and Quick Start Guide. These two pieces are designed to be eye-catching and informative, giving easy-to-understand directions on the basics of logging in to Wambi, and how Wambi benefits team members and their patients.
TIP
Flyer recommendations: 1 Team Member Poster, 2 Quick Start Guides
Giveaways
No event is complete without some free giveaways! For team members, it is a great incentive to log in and see what's waiting for them on the platform. Small giveaways are also a great idea for quick passersby and to reach patients and visitors who may be curious about the “Colorful bird” they keep seeing!
TIP
Recommendations: Badge reels and phone wallets: 1 per staff member + extras
Event examples
Here are some examples of team member-facing events that our clients have created:
The “Wambi Express” Train: One client hosted a Wambi Parade at their facility! Their plan was to parade through each building on their campus, celebrating Wambi. This client was equipped with Wambi glow sticks, temporary tattoos, and Wambi stickers to hand out as they visited team members!
The Wambi Cart: Another client decorated a cart that made its way through the units encouraging team members to log in after a big update!
