Leader and Manager Feature
This feature is available to leader and direct manager users in Wambi.
To pull up the Patient & Family Portal, select the Collect Wambis menu item. You will be brought to the portal and can collect gratitude for your team!
Collect Wambis
- Navigate to your menu
- Select Collect Wambis
- If prompted, select your organization's portal name
- You will be signed out of Wambi and redirected to the Patient & Family Portal
- If prompted, select the location name where you are collecting Wambis
TIP
If you need to change locations after you have already selected a location, go to your menu and select Change Location.
- You will see the Who would you like to recognize? page
- Ask the patient or family if there is anyone they want to thank and share your device. They can search by:
- Using the dropdown(s) to filter the results
- Using the smart search bar to search by name
- Have the patient select the team member they would like to thank and, if needed, select the location where they received care; they will be prompted to accept the Terms and Conditions and then Begin
- The patient will be prompted to respond to questions about their experience with the team member
NOTE
If a patient answers any question with Okay, Poor, or Fair, they will be prompted to share what could have been done better.
- The patient will then be prompted to share their appreciation directly with their care provider. If the patient shares a Wambi, it is shared directly with the team member and on the newsfeed in real-time.
- When the patient sees the Grateful for you! page, their gratitude has been shared to the team member's Patient Voice! The patient can click Done to return to the Who would you like to recognize? page, or Donate a gift of gratitude to donate in gratitude for their great care!
Text-to-Thank
Patient & Family Portals can be configured to allow patients to use their own devices to navigate the Patient & Family Portal! Connect with your organization's Wambi contact for your organization's Wambi Chatbot code!
Patients can text the code you provide to a number, and will then:
- Be asked if they know the name of the person they would like to recognize
- Be prompted for their name (if yes)
- Be redirected to the portal where they can confirm the location of their care, and then see all of the team members with the name they entered!
